It was sunshine and showers at Parkwood Academy’s summer fair on Saturday 16th July.

The heavy bursts of rain put off many people from attending so the turnout was much lower than previous years. This was compounded by the school having very little space to hold the event due to the huge building project that is the new school premises under construction.

The Romano Jilo dancers – many of whom study at the school – were out to entertain, with some lively music, all compèred by the ever-present Mr Howard. There were also tours of the new construction, giving a taster of the first-class facilities that will be available next year. The Romano Jilo dancers – many of whom study at the school- were out to entertain, with some lively music, all compèred by the ever-present Mr Howard.
