New Carwood Committee

Story: Lisa Swift

In August Carwood Tenants and Residents Association formed a new committee of 6 local residents.

The group, who are all volunteers, are planning a range of activities and they hope other local residents will come along to support them and get involved.

Computer classes will start on 23rd October, and will be held every Thursday 1-3pm in Carwood meeting room. This class will be supported by Heeley Development Trust.

There will be a community litter pick on 29th October starting at 10.30am. Please come along and help make the estate tidy for everyone, there will be free refreshments.

To find out more about the TARA, to get involved or share your views, come along to the weekly coffee morning at the TARA office every Wednesday 10.30am – 12noon or attend their consultation day and party on Friday 3rd October from 2.30pm at Carwood meeting room. Or call the office on 327 3800.
