The Conservation Volunteers community allotment project is getting nicely established now and we would love more volunteers to get involved.

Everybody is welcome – whether you want to learn how to grow organic vegetables, meet new people, share your skills and knowledge, get some exercise or just get involved in your local community.

The group meets every Wednesday from 10.30am till 1pm on the High Wincobank allotment site on Windmill Lane. There is also a pick-up from Firth Park Library at 10.15am.

There are regular sessions on Dealing with Anxiety, Creative Writing, Mindfulness and more! Come along and be part of something! We provide hot and cold drinks and biscuits, gloves, tools, seeds and support. Travel expenses can also be reimbursed.
