The Messenger takes action on the buses

Unfortunately, the council consultation on these bus changes occurred in between issues of the Messenger last year so we were unable to canvass opinion in print.

We did our best to collect opinions via the internet and submitted our findings – that local people as a whole were opposed to prioritising parking over people – to the council.

Since receiving these letters we have collected more information and written to Councillor Terry Fox, Cabinet Member for infrastructure and transport. We are currently waiting for a response.
