Fun for kids at Cubs

Are you 8 to 10 1/2 and bored? Come to the Cub Scouts and earn loads of badges, be happy and extremely proud of your great achievements. The Cub Scouts go on fantastic trips. Recently we went to the local foodbank to help out and planted bulbs that came up in the Spring and cheered people up. We’ve been on trips to the theatre to see ‘Aladdin’ and to Tesco to see how things operated.

If we aren’t going on trips, then we will be playing games or doing other activities at The Cornerstone. There is always something to do. We do too many things to mention so come and see for yourself. Both boys and girls are welcome. There’s Beavers for younger ones on Tuesdays and Scouts for older kids on Fridays.

Cubs meet at The Cornerstone at the top of Carwood Road/ Grimesthorpe Road, Wednesdays 6:30pm till 8:00pm.

Meet Nico, the leader, and his band of merry helpers.
