From the 9th to the 15th of September, the Hindu Samaj on Buckenham Street held a series of events to celebrate the rebirth of Ganesh, the elephant god.

The son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesh represents wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. There were very many people there to enjoy the cultural program on the evening of the 14th, who were entertained by some wonderful Bharathantyam dance displays after the pooja ritual.
