Spring Clean at Wensley

The Wensley Clean Up Team

Facing downpours of rain, Wensley Tenants and Residents Association managed a spectacular clean up of the Wensley Estate in April.

Workers from Sheffield Homes, the NEET Team and the Safer Neighbourhood Team, braved the miserable weather to do the annual deep clean, with support from the TARA who laid on refreshments and a wonderful lunch.

Gladys Newbolt, the TARA Secretary, said

“Everyone was wet through. We still managed to sweep out the stairs with the help of the PCSOs. And the NEET Team worked really hard filling several truck loads of rubbish and cuttings. I would like to thank everyone who helped on the day for their efforts.”
