…your views wanted

The Council has recently approved funding to upgrade Ellesmere Green.

This is a very exciting opportunity and we need your opinions about the work to be done as funding is limited. Construction is planned to start in Spring 2013.

Consultation for the improvements to the Green with local residents and businesses will run from Monday, 2 July until Friday, 27 July 2012.

You are invited to attend two events about the future of Ellesmere Green. You can also give your views online.

Please come to one of the following two events, have a look at the proposed improvements and give us your views.

Saturday 7 July 2012 Vestry Hall (Ellesmere Green) 11am until 3pm

Come to the Green to look at the proposals and also for some entertainment, including free face painting and a bouncy castle!

Thursday 12 July 2012, New Roots Café (Spital Hill) 12 noon until 7pm

Look at the proposals, discuss them with us and have a free cup of tea. At these events, you can also find out about other proposals to improve local services in Burngreave.

If you can’t attend either of these events – don’t worry.

From Monday 2 July to Friday 27 July you will be able to fill in a questionnaire online at http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/ellesmere and there will be a display about the proposals at Sorby House and New Roots.
