Grand Opening of MUGA at Owler Brook

Story: Rashida Hassanali

Uriah Rennie cut the ribbon on Thurs 4th May 2012 to open the brand new multi use games area (MUGA ) at Owler Brook Primary School.

Men of all ages (fathers, uncles, cousins and brothers) supported children in five a side football matches – the league was umpired by Uriah and by Chair of Governors, Ian Annis.

The headteacher, building supervisor and Interserve contractors all played their part in mixed teams with only the children allowed to score goals.

After a series of competitive and highly entertaining matches the clear winners were the ‘A’ Team.
