Story: Kath Hobson

On Tuesday 15th June, Firs Hill School held their annual Summer Fair. There were lots of stalls and fun and games.

Children from each year group had stalls which they designed and thought about themselves, including guess the weight of the sea shells, sand pit treasure hunt, magazine stall and decorating biscuits. Four volunteers came to do mendhi which was popular and there was face painting and washable tattoos.

Sheffield Bouncy Castle Hire supplied two fantastic inflatable castles and there was a football penalty shootout. There was also a set of stocks which this year some staff were fastened in and had wet sponges thrown at them! Along with a raffle, great refreshments and lots of sunshine, it was a really fantastic afternoon. A total of £644.20 was raised for school and the PTA (Parents Teacher Association) would like to thank everyone for their help and support.
