A ‘Companionable’ Night

Friday 29th July 2005, the Friends of Burngreave Cemetery and Chapel held a fundraising Blues Night at the Companions Club on Barnsley Road.

Playing were local bands Green Onions and The Robin Hoare Band. Guest stars were local stone basher Farne Errington who provided the ‘rock-ing beat’, and Sarah Starbuck on guitar.

Secretary of the Friends group, Christine Steers said:

“We were really pleased, a fantastic effort and now we are looking forward to the next one on 3rd December 2005. Thanks to Cassie Limb and Robin Hoare for organising the event.”
