JOB: Part-time Admin Officer at Bright Stars Nursery

Bright Stars Nursery is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to support the smooth running of the nursery office.

The post is term time only, minimum 6 hours per week, working flexibly to meet the needs of the nursery. £6.35- £6.65 per hour, dependent on experience.

Duties will include being the first point of contact for the nursery over the telephone and provision of administrative support to colleagues.

The applicant should be someone who is approachable, professional, highly motivated and conscientious, confident to work on their own but enjoys being part of a team, committed to ensuring the very best for the children, able to maintain high standards of professionalism and maintain confidentiality, able to demonstrate good ICT skills with experience of all main Microsoft Office packages essential, able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to multi-task in order to cope with the varied demands of a busy nursery office.

Minimum of two years experience in an administration role is essential and experience of Early Years would be an advantage.

The nature of the role demands flexibility and the successful candidate may be asked to change their working day occasionally. Ability to speak a community language is an advantage as the nursery has a high number of children who speak English as an additional language.
