Green City Action's Tool Bank relaunched

Story by: Green City Action

At Green City Action, as well as delivering environmental improvement projects, we like to help people do things for themselves, so last year we relaunched our Tool Bank. Anyone in the local area can borrow tools and equipment for £1-£15 Thurs-Sat or Sat-Thurs. We loan car, bike and gardening tools as well as DIY tools. We are also planning a series of DIY and gardening workshops.

We want to improve our service and to do this we need as many people as possible from the local area to complete a short questionnaire before Monday 10 March and tell us what they want from us. Everyone’s opinion counts even if you aren’t interested in hiring tools. Everyone from the local area that completes the questionnaire can enter a free prize draw to win £30 of gift vouchers for a shop of your choice, a microsalad growing kit, and a solar powered security light (worth £15-£30).

The Tool Bank is in Abbeyfield Park House, Abbeyfield Park.
