JOB: Early Years Room Leader at Bright Stars Nursery

There is currently a vacancy for a Room Leader on a permanent basis within Bright Stars Nursery.

The post is term time only, 30-35 hours per week, £6.65 – £7.50 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

They are looking for someone with leadership and organisational skills, a sound knowledge of child development and experience of applying this within the Revised Early Years Foundation stage.

The applicant needs to be a practitioner with energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing a quality learning environment whilst safeguarding children.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the management team and support the rest of the team in reflecting upon and developing their professional skills.

Applicants must be Level 4 qualified, Early Years degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in an Early Years setting including 2 years working in a senior capacity. Current First Aid and Safeguarding training preferred. Ability to speak a community language is an advantage as the nursery has a high number of children who speak English as an additional language.

There will initially be a six month probationary period for the successful candidate.
