JOB: Experienced Female Development Worker

Roshni Sheffield Asian Women’s Resource Centre is seeking to recruit an experienced female Development Worker who will lead on overseeing the Roshni ‘Volunteer Plus’ programme.

  • 12 hours per week (6 month fixed term contract)

  • £19,621 per annum pro rata

This is an intensive development and training programme for women with additional support needs, who want to volunteer. The post will also entail leading on developing and delivering our programme of Adult Social Care services on behalf of individuals who have access to a personal budget.

You must have the ability to deliver training and oversee the running of the project. You must also be able to fluently speak either Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali or Hindi and have an excellent understanding of the needs of vulnerable South Asian women in Sheffield.
