Women’s Wellbeing Course

Starts: Tuesday 16th April 2013

10.00am – 12.00pm for 6 weeks

This women only course is designed to be a starting point for women who would like to improve their emotional and physical wellbeing. This course is a safe space for women to feel secure enough to share their own personal experiences of life without being judged.

‘Do you feel isolated at home?’

‘Would you like to learn some techniques to help you feel better?’

An Urdu & Arabic speaking interpreter and FREE CRECHE can be provided, please request this when you book a place.

The priority will go to women from Burngreave, Firvale, Page Hall area, S5 and S4.

  • Practical sessions include: Cooking, Zumba, Tai chi, & Relaxation exercises

  • Discussion topics include: Wellbeing, Forced & Arranged Marriage, Boost your Self-Esteem, Food & Mood, Relaxation

  • Issues around Culture, Relationships & Family

Venue: Verdon Recreation Centre, Verdon Street, Sheffield, S3 9QN.

Women 16 years old and above can attend.
