Job: Community Coordinator

Pakistan Advice and Community Association is recruiting a Community Coordinator to work in specific areas of North East and East Areas of Sheffield.

Salary: £26,624 pro rata

18 hours per week

Location: 127 Page Hall Rd, Sheffield S4 8GU

This post provides an exciting opportunity to help influence, shape and instil community cohesion, reduce tensions, and improving community pride in these areas.

The successful applicant will be expected to develop and implement community-based initiatives including Neighbourhood Watch and Street Champions.

You will be expected to work across the Firvale and Darnall Area and to identify and establish links within vulnerable communities. A confident and adept communicator who is able to work at a grassroots level to achieve significant strategic outcomes, you will also have experience of report writing, monitoring and evaluation processes for projects.

Fixed Term Contract from May 2013 – 1st May 2014 with potential for renewal subject to funding.
