Young Man Killed in Darnall

A young man from Burngreave has died after he was struck by a car in Darnall on Thursday 17th March. Abdulla Awil Mohamed, aged 18, was fatally injured when a vehicle mounted the pavement on Coleridge Road around 7.30pm.

A murder inquiry was launched following the incident and four men were arrested and later charged. The men appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday 28th March 2011. Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing for witnesses who were in the area between 5pm and 9pm on the evening of the 17th, to contact them on 0114 296 3016.
