150th Anniversary of Burngreave Cemetery

We are inviting you to visit us in Sheffield on this day to mark the fact that the Cemetery has been open for 150 years.

The main event will be at 1.45pm,

a “Promenade” – a series of vignettes written and performed by Burngreave Promenade Players depicting the stories of some of those buried in the Cemetery.

There will also be an exhibition, information about Burials and Headstones, history of the cemetery buildings and grounds, an ecological display and large street maps of the area from 1850 onwards.
