End of Year Party

Children at Pye Bank School enjoyed a wonderful end of year party, thanks to the hard work of parents and staff. Children’s entertainer, “Sparky Marky” did a wonderful job entertaining the children with magic shows; balloon animals and party games galore. The behaviour of all the children was brilliant and they were all treated to a goodie bag at the end.

The idea for the party originally came from parents Lisa Horsfield, Amanda Payne, Deborah Allison and Paulette Lewis, who got the support of headteacher, Rita Storr and then secured a BNDfC small grant to fund food, crèche and the entertainer. Letters sent to parents resulted in 130 children booked to attend and 50 parents volunteering to provide food or help supervise on the day.

A big thank you to Lisa, Debbie, Amanda and Paulette for all your hard work and all those parents who contributed food and help on the day!
