Skating @ Firs Hill

On 17th June Firs Hill Sports and Arts facility was transformed into a skate park. Ramps, skateboards, scooters and safety gear were all unloaded from a van and set up for young people in the area.

Extreme Wheels Roadshow, provided by Bolsover Council, is also designed for BMX use and on the day a BMX champion and other qualified instructors were on hand to provide coaching.

The Burngreave Sports Project are hoping to make this a regular feature, travelling around the area, starting in September. Watch this space!
