Board Members Wanted

Closing Date: 30th August 2004

SYAC Ltd (South Yorkshire African Caribbean Business and Enterprise Training Centre) are looking for 10 new Board members, four of whom we will also wish to consider as candidates for the positions of the Chair, Vice Chair, Company Secretary and Treasurer. The positions are voluntary but expenses are paid. The Board meets monthly.

The aim of the Centre is to combat the problem of high unemployment faced by the African Caribbean community in Sheffield, to encourage and provide help to those wishing to start their own business and provide a range of employment training opportunities.

Applications to become a SYAC Board member are invited from suitably qualified people with a commitment to improving SYAC Ltd.

Applications from women and young people will be particularly welcome.
