Cemetery Well Dressing July 3rd-5th

The Friends of Burngreave Cemetery are staging this years well-dressing in the cemetery during thr first week of July.

The petalling will take place on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th from 2pm onwards.

All community members are welcome to help place the flower petals on the clay background to form the finished picture. No previous experience necessary, just turn up at the cemetery chapel near the Melrose Road entrance and join in. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The completed design will be launched on Sunday 5th by the Lord Mayor, our local councillor Talib Hussain.

We would welcome donations of flowers of any colour but particularly yellows, orange and white. Please bring them on Friday.

Thanks in anticipation
