Job vacancy: Lunchtime Supervisor

  • 7 hours per week (every lunchtime during term time, Monday to Friday, starting at 12 noon each day).

  • £6.29 per hour.

  • Closing date for applications: 12 noon, Monday 13th June.

We are looking for a happy, friendly person to join the team at St. Catherine’s School. The job will involve supervising and assisting children aged between 5 and 11 during the lunchtime period, in the dining room, the playground and sometimes in the classroom.

In the dining room: You will help set up furniture, clear tables and give guidance on table manners when necessary.

In the playground: You will be helping children with play equipment, looking out for potential dangers and recording accidents and behaviour incidents.

We are looking for a person who is reliable and able to work as part of a team; ideally you will have experience of working with children. An enhanced CRB check is required and will be organised by the school. You would also need to get a First Aid certificate (training will be provided).
