Story: Sharon Buttery

On April 26th 2011 a new nursery was opened at Hucklow Primary School. The nursery had places for 48 children from the local area making it an instant hit with parents in the community and well before the first day all places were taken.

On Wednesday 4th May the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Alan Law and his consort conducted the official opening. A plaque is now proudly displayed at the entrance.

The new nursery will mean more children being able to access their free pre-school early learning from three years of age.

If you’re interested and have young children, why not call in and see Mrs Buttery in the main school office, 242 6736, and give your child the benefit of good quality early learning.
