On Sunday 1st August, The Sportsman Pub hosted a charity event to raise money for Action Duchenne, which raises awareness for people who suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

A raffle, cake sales, face painting and donations made £600 for the charity. The event was enjoyable, with plenty of laughs, a variety of bands and solo singers as well as a special performance from the landlord and landlady of the pub.

Special thanks to the volunteers and Joan & Nigel for running the event and raising money for Action Duchenne.
