Job: Tinsley Forum Youth Development Worker

Hours:

35 hours a week

Fixed term contract:

October 2008 – March 2009 (with extension to March 2010 subject to pending contract renewal).

Tinsley, Sheffield S9

We are looking for a person with enthusiasm, professionalism and good interpersonal skills to take on the role of Youth Development Worker for Tinsley Forum Youth Project. The project supports 11-19 year olds from the local area, particularly those who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing support and activity programmes for young people, as well as undertaking the administrative and monitoring requirements of the project. Knowledge and experience of working with young people is essential, including in the design and delivery of accredited programmes. Candidates must also have the ability to work in partnership with schools and other agencies.
