- [•] Drug Project success
The main focus of attention was preparing the new youth shelter and the brick built electric shed ready for the commemorative artwork to be applied. We are not sure where most of the paint went, onto the shelter or onto the volunteers themselves. Joking aside, the youths worked really hard to improve the facilities and deserve great thanks for their efforts. In addition to the painting, the park was given a general clean up with the seating being re-oiled, grass and shrubs trimmed and several large self-set trees removed. Before this we had a fantastic response from an even younger group of helpers around Malton Street, where a site we have improved over the last two years had some GCA designed and built play structures installed.
