Local concerns at the Area Panel

The Burngreave Area Panel is going to be very active in this coming period. We have just held a special public meeting in Fir Vale to report back to residents in Page Hall on what the Council and other Agencies are doing to respond to local concerns, highlighted unfortunately by rather negative publicity in the Star.

Parkwood Academy Ballot

On Thursday 2nd October 2008 there is to be a joint public meeting about the future of Parkwood High School

Area Panel meeting

For discussion at the next Area Panel meeting on 9th October 2008:

  • Community space at St Catherine’s School

  • £50,000 for Libraries, Parks or Streets

  • Community Assemblies

Northern General Scrutiny

On Tuesday 4th November, the Council’s Scrutiny Board will be considering the latest position about travel, traffic and parking generated by the Northern General Hospital
