As part of English Heritage Open Days, the Friends of Burngreave Chapel and Cemetery put on an exhibition and a “Help find your Relative” event for three days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12th- 14th September.

Over thirty-five people came to view the Chapel and seek assistance in finding the burial place of their ancestors. We were able to find some headstones for them but for others, although there was an inscription for the family, the memorials were lost
