St Catherine's Summer Fair

The sun shone on 17th June, for a glorious day of football and fun at St Catherine’s School.

The Football Crazy tournament, in which five teams from Firs Hill school also took part, ran very smoothly and all players received a commemorative medal. St Catherine’s plans to make this an annual event, and hopes that next year, all Burngreave schools will join in.

Activity Sheffield’s skateboards and ramps proved popular as were the bouncy castle and chocolate fountain! CAFOD’s raffle raised £48 for overseas mission work. The money raised at this year’s summer Fair will go towards improving the outdoor play facilities as the number of reception classes will increase in September.
