Macmillan Coffee Morning

For the third year running, a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support was held at St Peter’s Ellesmere on Friday 25th September.

The event at St Peter’s was organised by Jackie Willoughby (pictured). She said:

“People have been very generous in doing lots of baking for this event and supporting it financially. Macmillan Cancer Support provides a vital personal service to cancer patients all over the country and does not receive public funding."

“Today’s event will have raised around £300 and, over the last three years an amount of nearly £1,000 has been sent to the charity from this annual event at St Peter’s. I would like to thank all those who have helped to raise this magnificent total”.
