PACA's Big Zone event

PACA big zone

Story by Margaret Gibson

Pakistani Advice and Community Association (PACA) held a Building Better Opportunities event on 17th February 2016.

In the ‘Relax & Chat Zone’, people discussed barriers to gaining employment and facilitators asked what support people would like to help them into employment, training and volunteering.

In the ‘Ideas Zone’, people completed cards with details of courses that they would like to attend. They were asked what skills they had to lead sessions at PACA.

Most people said they want support into employment and training to be delivered in their local area.
