Pitsmoor Youth Housing Trust (PYHT) have a vacancy for a full-time Caretaker/ Maintenance Officer.
37 hours per week

PYHT is a well-established Charity in Sheffield. By providing accommodation and targeted support we aim to improve the life chances for homeless young people.
PYHT are looking for someone to join our organisation and contribute significantly to the effective and efficient management of our accommodation.
Do you have good skills and experience in cleaning, DIY, gardening, painting and decorating and general maintenance work?
If you are willing, reliable, hardworking, have high standards and take pride in the quality of your work then you could be just the person that we are looking for to undertake a range of caretaker/ handy person duties in our properties located throughout Sheffield and join a team dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people to have a better future.
You will be working on your own and as part of our small Maintenance team to ensure our accommodation is safe, secure and meets our standards. You must be able to prioritise, plan and manage your day to day work load. You will be able to work co-operatively and sensitively with a range of colleagues, service users, contractors and external agencies.
Experience of working in a similar situation will be desirable.
You must be over 25 years old and in possession of a full, clean UK driving licence.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
