A young man has been shot and killed on Sptial Hill. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday 30th October.

Police stated that emergency services were called to a ‘community centre’ on Spital Hill at around 2.40am on Sunday morning. The victim was taken to the Northern General Hospital but died shortly afterwards. Three people have been arrested and the police have launched a murder investigation.

Spital Hill and surrounding roads have been cordened off, and access is being denied to shopowners.

Police at the scene said they expected the road to remain closed for at least the rest of Sunday.
