Vacancy for a primary school age tutor

Reach High 2 needs a tutor to teach an upper- primary-aged group of children primarily from ethnic minority backgrounds in Burngreave. The weekend study support group is an exciting opportunity to help young people reach their full potential in a relaxed but focussed learning environment that enables pupils to take control of their learning.

The work will be 6 hours over Saturday and Sunday, during term times.

Pay at £19.06 per hour

Application should be by letter, indicating:

  • Your experience of teaching (especially with inner city pupils and pupils from black and minority ethnic backgrounds) and qualifications .

  • Why you are interested in delivering Study Support tutoring

Applicants should be qualified teachers and have an up to date Criminal Records Bureau check and Child Protection training, though this may be available through the project.
