An opportunity to help maintain and develop the Parkwood Forest Garden including planting, cutting back and weeding.

Saturday 20th August 11am-3pm

Meet at 11am Parkwood Springs Forest Garden car park (opposite flats 104-138), Shirecliffe Road, S5 8XB.

The idea of a forest garden is to create a pseudo-woodland comprising a multi-layered planting where a mixture of fruit, nuts, berries, herbs and self-seeding plants grow together providing an edible garden.

Please note there are no public conveniences or facilities for seating on-site so do come prepared. Wear sturdy shoes and come prepared for the weather. Gloves and tools will be provided. Please bring food/drink and something to sit on.
