Lyons Street takeaway

After 14 months’ hard work, local caterer, Mr Imtiaz, was delighted to finally open Pizza Cottage Cafe and Takeaway on Lyons Close, Ellesmere on 3rd August. Free food was served between 2 and 6pm on the opening day. Pizza Cottage is a very welcome addition to the area. Is the food good? Yes, all food is freshly prepared with the finest ingredients by the friendly staff, however it is not expensive. A tasty range of pizzas, kebabs, burgers, chicken takeaway and pasta dishes are served along with desserts like jam roly poly and custard.

Pizza Cottage is such good value that it is attracting custom from all over the area and is not only popular with local families, taking advantage of the “kiddies specials”, but with the young people from All Saints youth club opposite. In fact, Mr Imtiaz is hoping his cafe will become a resource which local young people can use rather than hanging around the streets. He has a television which regularly plays music channels and kids are often in there chatting and enjoying the food.

Pizza Cottage is open Sun – Thurs 11.30am till 11.45pm and till 12am Fri and Sat. There is free delivery on orders over £7. Telephone: 0114 243 9011.
