Women in non-traditional trades and technology courses

South Yorkshire Women’s Development Trust still have places available on the below courses. Our new enrolment is on the 25th September 2008 5pm – 7pm, however please contact us if you would like a place and we can pencil you in.

  • DIY – Start Date: 8/10/08 (7 weeks) WEDS 9.30am – 11.30am

  • Floor & Wall Tiling – Start Date: 6/10/08 (8 weeks) MON 6-9pm

  • Computer Aided Design – Start Date: 6/10/08 (8 weeks) MON 6-9pm

  • Motor Vehicle – Start Date: 16/09/08 (6 weeks) TUES 6-9pm

  • Plastering – Start Date: 7/10/08 (8 weeks) TUES 6-9pm

  • Preparing to teach in the LifeLong Learning Sector – Start Date: 12/11/08 (10 weeks) WEDS 6 -9pm

  • Electrics – Start Date:12/11/08 (8 weeks) WEDS 6-9pm

  • Plumbing – Start Date: 9/10/08 (6 weeks) THURS 630 –9pm

  • Bricklaying – Start Date: 27/09/08 (8 weeks) SAT 9.30am – 12.30

  • Painting & Decorating – Start Date: 27/09/08 (4 weeks) SAT 930am – 1230

  • Wall Papering – Start Date: 8/11/08 (4 weeks) SAT 930am – 1230

Some of the courses are very popular so enrolment is on first come first served basis. If you cannot attend the enrolment session please phone the week after enrolment to see if there are any places left.

Day time classes are free for those in receipt of jobseekers allowance, income support, or incapacity benefit. Please bring relevant documentation to enrolment. Course costs are detailed overleaf for evening and Saturday courses. Reduced fees for those on benefits listed above.

Course fees are due on day of enrolment. Payment by cash or cheque. Cheques made payable to South Yorkshire Women’s Development Trust.

Course tutors are women, who are professionally qualified and enthusiastic about the subject they teach.
