Building on the success of previous events organised by the BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Business Forum, we would like to invite you to our annual showcase evening. The BME Forum has grown significantly over the last two and a half years and provides the ideal opportunity to network with other members of the and meet with the Forum to discover how it can help you and your business.

After a welcome from the Forum and from our sponsors, Business Link South Yorkshire and the MegaCentre, we will hear from Sir Bob Kerslake and a number of members from the BME Forum including FURD, who will tell us about their recent trade mission to South Africa and the opportunities that this opened up for his organisation.

Another member will give us an insight into how it feels to be Yorkshire African-Caribbean Businesswoman of the Year. This award is given to inspirational businesswomen who have achieved significant success over a three year period – particularly those who’ve had to overcome adversities such as financial constraints, social and gender disadvantages or skill gaps.

Live entertainment will also take place throughout the evening and a Halal buffet will be provided.

Existing BME members also have the opportunity to exhibit their goods/services during the evening, further promoting BME businesses that are members of the Forum. Exhibition stands are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
