The local elections are on Thursday 1st May 2008.

These are the candidates for the election in Burngreave. Only one seat is up for election in 2008.

The Liberal Democrats have no candidate this year as their candidate, Mr Hersi, withdrew his nomination and changed parties.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.

The count is taking place on Friday 2nd May and the Election Results will be announced as they happen during the afternoon.
