More information

Burngreave is one of the areas in Sheffield taking part in a pilot project run by the City Council called ‘Neighbourhood Arrangements’. The project is looking at how the city might move forward in working in partnership with local communities. The learning and ideas from ‘How Your Neighbourhood Works’ will be fed directly into those discussions.

What will we do?

  • Identify the issues that you are concerned about

  • Consider the changes taking place in Burngreave and how to influence them

  • Unpick where and how decisions are made about Burngreave

  • Put our questions to ‘expert’ witnesses

  • Build a map of opportunities to influence

  • Develop ideas on the future shape of community involvement in the regeneration of Burngreave

Participants: 16 maximum

The programme is aimed at people who are already active in the community and engaged in a local group. A £10 deposit secures you a place and is returnable on completion of the programme. Please contact Natalie Hunt [see below] if this is a problem for your organisation.
