BWRC Children’s Project jobs

BWRC (Black Women's Resource Centre), established for 11 years, are seeking to appoint three enthusiastic and dynamic people to take up these exciting posts in our busy nursery. BWRC is located in Burngreave Road but will be moving to a new refurbish location at the former Burngreave Young Children’s Centre in March 2008.

We are an inner city nursery providing quality childcare to a diverse group of children and families.

Applicants are required to work within a multi-disciplinary staff team working in partnership with parents and other professionals and have knowledge of both Birth To Three Matters and the Foundation Stage Curriculum for 0-5 year olds.

These posts offer an excellent opportunity for people with relevant knowledge, experience and qualifications to provide a key role in the provision of services for our children and their families.

1 Full-time Qualified Senior Early Years Practitioner

  • Candidates must have NNEB, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare with Endorsements, Btec’97 onwards, NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education with successful post qualifying experience.

  • Salary: £15,595

2 Full-time Qualified Early Years Practitioner

  • Candidates must have NNEB, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare with Endorsements, Btec’97 onwards

  • Salary: £12,300
