Burngreave Library Co-ordinator vacancy

SOAR is an award winning regeneration charity in North Sheffield which provides a number of services for the community including health, buildings management, training and support into employment.

SOAR has an exciting vacancy in our Volunteering Team for: Burngreave Library Co-ordinator

Full time (37 hours) flexible hours Salary: £19,621 to £21,519 dependant on experience 8% pension contribution Permanent subject to funding 25 days annual leave entitlement pro-rata & Bank holidays

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and sustain Burngreave Library. It will be co-produced library with the City Council i.e. SCC will provide technical support, training, premises provision, book stock provision, etc. Note: SCC will not be providing staff in the library.

The role is to support the operational development of Burngreave Library, namely recruiting, retaining and supporting volunteers, organising the rota, developing a co-produced programme of activities, developing income sources for the Library.

The Co-ordinator will work operationally as part of an integrated team (including volunteers and ‘Friends’) in the delivery of the project. They will also be part of SOAR’s volunteering team.

Sufficient funding has been secured for 12 months costs.
