Multi faith forest gardening day

All are welcome to join a Multifaith Forest Gardening day at Parkwood Springs on Saturday 13th February at 11am – 2pm.

Parkwood Forest Garden is a beautiful calm space and a productive permaculture project. It is a young forest garden developed by Sheffield City Council in association with local volunteers.

This month there will be some Springtime weeding and the usual maintenance tasks. This is a great time of year to get on top of some essential maintenance tasks, now that many of the weeds have died back.

If you would like to stop for a shared lunch at around 1pm, bring your own food and maybe something to share.

The workday will be hosted by Ed Thatcher who will be at the entrance of the car park from 10.45am. More information on 0775 289 4455 or at edward.thatcher@sheffield.gov.uk
