Pitsmoor to Calais, 2nd trip. Full van coming back too!

In the recent issues of the Burngreave Messenger we reported on the trip to Calais made by Pitsmoor people, Stuart and Fran, to assist people living in the ‘Calais Jungle’ refugee camp.

Stuart and Fran made a second trip in January 2016. As planned they took another van filled with essentials for the refugees, but they didn't come back empty: they had a van filled with a ton of food for Burngreave food bank! This food was stuff that was inappropriate for the refugees for various reasons.

This was reported in the Sheffield Star newspaper:

But for a more personal and evocative report with loads of pictures of life in “the Jungle”, we suggest you read Fran's blog
