Gemma Mohamed, aged twenty six, who has lived all her life in Burngreave and who went to Byron Wood School, has graduated from Sheffield Hallam University as a mental health nurse.

Gemma says:

"It was a very proud moment that I am willing to share especially with Burngreave. I love my community and being brought up in Burngreave has taught me a lot of valuable skills that you don't just pick up anywhere.

As I walked through Pitsmoor in my cap and gown I was congratulated and praised. It was an amazing feeling.
