Commemorative event at the Furnival

Sheffield Methodists are hosting a commemorative event on Thursday 13th November at The Furnival, 199 Verdon Street, to mark the refurbishment and naming of the café/community area

The event will take place from 10am onwards.

The cafe is to be named after retired Methodist minister Reverend Dr John Vincent who bought the pub at auction – without permission from the Methodist Church – and used it as a church. The building is now used as the office space for the Sheffield Methodist Circuit and also houses The Furnival Project
