Story: Saleema Imam

Since the autumn halfterm, mums from Firs Hill Primary School have been meeting to learn sewing skills in order to tell their stories in fabric.

On 9th January 2014, they met to show off their creations – cushion covers and wall-hangings – to tell their stories and receive their certificates.

“We’ve enjoyed learning new skills and we've made some beautiful things too,”

said one participant.
