Course: Understanding Community Interpreting

This WEA course provides an introduction to the work of a community interpreter and the role played within the community and public services. This course is suitable for those fluent in English and a community language who are interested in volunteering as interpreters. The course is accredited by the Open College Network at Level 1.

Applications must be returned by 11th October 2013

Successful applicants will be invited to attend an assessment session on Saturday 19 October 2013.

The course takes place over 5 sessions:

Saturday 9 November – 7 December 2013, 9.30am – 2.00pm
